Jobs are essentially Mouse: P.I. For Hire‘s term for missions or quests. The whole game is about solving the mystery afoot in Mouseburg, which starts with the disappearance of magician Steve Bandel, but quickly unravels into a much bigger conspiracy that leads protagonist, Jack Pepper, to all manner of environments.

There are 24 main and 14 side jobs in Mouse: P.I. For Hire. Every side job is tied to a main job and, since there is no level select available, it must be completed in tandem. You also cannot explore levels freely, as doors will often lock behind you, so be sure to explore everywhere you can before moving on if you have a side job to complete. These jobs are listed in the order you unlock them, but if you have multiple main jobs available at once, they can be tackled in any order.
